Do a search on google. Gores can be inflicted by YES a bull, or an elephant, or a rhinocerous, etc.
Flagdogrose you are right elephants most certainly do have tusks.
What a freak accident! You could expect this from elephants in the wild though, as there have been known cases in the past. I guess you just would not expect this behaviour from an elephant which is trained to carry passengers or which performs at an elephant park... But I'm not an elephant expert and they are wild animals.
Magnificent creatures that they are; I could not imagine the impact of being thrown by one. She's very lucky to be able to relive this, although she probably won't want to go near an elephant again.
