I really enjoyed my stay at Amed Cafe this year - it is very friendly, the rooms are nice and it is very reasonable. They also have a great restaurant right on the sea, and some rooms right on the beach. Rooms behind the beach with fan and cold water cost $100,000rp a night, moving right up to rooms with a fantastic view right on the beach with hot water for about 250,000rp a night. Thee staff are very friendly and also have a dive centre which can rent out snorkeling equipment to you. You can snorkel straight off the beach in front of the hotel. They also organise a lotof tour around the north east part of Bali.
