There is an excellent bookshop upstairs in Discovery Plaza aka Kartika Plaza. Also good second hand bookshops in Poppies 2 down on the right heading towards the beach, close to the beach, and in Poppies 1 about half way down towards the beach (I think) on the left.
There is a second hand bookshop on Jl Padma Utara past Garden View heading towards Legian proper - in a dog leg I think - it's a rip off.
