the benefit is done for & by Garuda as they have a business to run.
So whatever decision is/was made, then it must be more economical for them one would presume.
Costs are probably not more as those flights via Jkt are already in place?
eg GA880 is a domestic flight already in operation.
Garuda has many flights flying to Jkt from Bali per day.
I opted for the lunchtime flight as I'm not a big fan of Jkt airport (arriving from Bali) and not into long flights.
