Don't know how long it takes as i didn't do it at same time as Bali but many people do as apparently it's a very short flight from Bali. Can recommend staying in Yogyakarta to see some amazing temples etc. Also recommend seeing Mount Bromo a day trip by bus, overnight, and return to Yogya the next day.
