I have a very close friend who has just divorced from her Balinese husband. She is western and the divorce got very messy but she has full custody of her children and they have sold the land and she got some of the money even though she was the one who paid for it years ago.she lost the car and motorbike to him but she was mostly only worried about her kids so didn't fight too hard for anything more.
