I know what you mean. I have been trying to talk my sister into coming to Bali with me but all she sees are the headlines about the bombings and Sch.... C... so won't even listen to the reasons why I love the place. She also says "I am not interested in shopping" and when you try to explain all the other things to do and see, the friends to meet, she turns a deaf ear. We are between a rock and a hard place. Now with the change in schedules it will be that much harder.
