If you can travel within the dates that Jet Star currently have advertised as Girds posted then that would no doubt be the best option as far as $'s go.
I recently flew out of Darwin with Qantas on Frequent Flyers. The only drawback is that the domestic flight schedules from Adelaide to Darwin and vice versa aren't great. It would require you spending a good deal of your day in Darwin before flying out late at night. If that isn't an issue then look at that option.
While direct international flights from Adelaide remain non-existent, personally I would look at either Perth or Darwin as your best option.
