Buy secutity tags that alert you if someone has been in your bag.
When you get to Bali ( or any other place in the world ) have a look at your bags before you pick them up. If it looks like they have been tampered with, DO NOT TOUCH THEM!!! Go and get someone from security or Customs and tell them about your concerns.
As everyone else has said, the odds are in your favour.
