we didn't give the lady any money. Were going to on our last night but wouldn't it rot your socks - she wasn't there that night and we had seen her every night before that!
My husband and I have travelled through a lot of SE Asian countries many moons ago (before kids) and even went to India for a month or so. We really try not to give them money but it is hard. And my three were quite distraught to see this but that is one terrific learning experience for them I believe. Not everyone has it easy in life.
