We travel to Bali quite often and always stay at Katika we always request rooms on the right wing from the foyer entrance.
Usually 2nd or 3rd floor overlooking the pool.
I have noticed that the rooms on that side overlooking the garden and next to Centro can be a bit noisy due to the music from Musro Disco.We dont seem to get that also the reason we stay on that side is to avoid the morning sun as it can be a bit bright if you enjoy sitting on the balcony having a morning cuppa.(old people thingy).
The 2nd level is the same level as the foyer.
The ground level known as garden rooms make it a bit easier for access to pool and restaurants for the older and those who just like the rooms.
We find it convenient to have a room thats moor central to everything.
