I've never stayed at Ida's in Candi Dasa, but I have noticed that one of the staff members keeps the pavement clean in front of the property. I noticed that he was keeping leaves and other greenery separate to plastic rubbish and he told me that the green stuff goes back onto the garden and is not put in with the general rubbish. He said that his boss, who is German, told him to do this many years ago. I hope that this becomes general practice in Bali. All a matter of education.
