We have just returned from 2 weeks in Bali and stayed at the MBR
What a great hotel especialy for families.
With all the negative reports i read on this site prior to our departure i was a bit worried ...but did not have to be.
We had a suite room in the new section which was enormous compared to other hotels we have stayed at in Bali , with this being only a 3 star hotel the facilities were great.we opened the front door to our room and the pool was right there.As with any hotel there are bound to be some faults , which the Melasti had a couple and they were:
Breakfast was not as good as i would have thought but you could get all that you wanted ..but i have had worse at 5 star hotels, pool towels were at a premium and if you orded ice in came in a bag with no ice bucket apart from those minor faults the staff always went out of their way to help and were always extremely friendly.
We are going back next year and will be staying at the MBR again.
If anybody needs any info on shopping,the hotel please dont hesitate to contact me i also have contact details for a driver who we have used for years ( he gives the kids a free magic show(30 mins) and a good one at that)he also has 2 DVD stores and guarantees all his discs
