They are called "Onya Bags" Fantastic. It folds up to about3 unches by 2 inches and has a clip on it. I clip it on my shoulder bag and whip it out when I buy something. Locals were amazed in both Thailand and Bali.
I love when you buy something from the body shop and say no bag. They say "thank you for thinking of the environment".
I have noticed in some hotels they have a sign that says "throw your towels on the floor if you want them changed". But then they change them even when hung up. Mind you in cheap places you really need a new towel every day as they're so thin.
When we are in one place for an extended time we buy the 5 litre waters and fill up.
