Pura Besakih is worth a look, one of the more spectacular temples.
I prefer Pura Ulun Danu Temple on Lake Bratan and you can head on further up the road and feed the monkeys on the side of the road, much more friendly than the Ubud monkey forest.
Git Git waterfall is nice and reachable as part of a day trip from Ubud, I've comfortably done it from Sanur. I've done that easily from Sanur including lake Bratan and few other things as well on the way.
The butterfly park around Tabanan is nice but the road to/from Ubud is not great (maybe an hour or a little more).
Tana Lot is actually fairly close to Seminyak, more so than it is to Ubud anyway. It's kind of spectacular at sunset and the whole have a cocktail on the cliff top is very commercial but most good places tend to be like that,
Remember in terms of scale that Ubud is only about 35Km from Sanur, short distances as they appear on the map can be further with the roads and visa versa.
I've done a day trip from Sanur up through the middle to Candi Dasa and stopped at the lake, a market, feed monkeys looked at rice terraces and back to Tana lot by sunset including plenty of time for lunch and a swim at Git Git. Bali is a small island, that may give you a sense of scale.
