Thanks to the people that posted well wishes whilst we were away. Big thanks to Jess xx.

Well what can I say to those that did it before us and to those that are about to get married. It is the best decision we could have made.

The Sanur Paradise Plaza Hotel had organised transport for us to the Sheraton Laguna in Nusa Dua. We arrived at the Laguna at 12.15pm the day was perfect just a few wispy clouds in the brilliant blue sky, the weather was warm but not overly humid. The girls headed to one room the boys to another. Once we had set up the room we girls headed for the pool.
After swimming for a couple of hours and drinking beside the pool. Someone asked me what time was hair and makeup arriving. I lazily commented that it was around 2.30 my best mate said Sam its 2.15 now. ARGH I ran to the room to jump in the shower. The girls were right behind me. Just as I stepped out of the shower the door bell rang and the makeup lady had arrived. We had music playing and everyone taking it in turns to take a shower.
Allie from Bali Paradise Weddings arrived with my bouquet it was exactly what I was after I am amazed that she could get it so perfect from a couple of photos and my garbled emails. When everone was ready they headed down stairs and Allie sent up the balinese flower girls. There was an assistant from the hotel to escort us down. My son gave me away, so we walked slowly down together with the flowergirls.
The ceremony was just awesome Allie had organised the perfect wedding for us. Nyoman did an fantastic job with the music it was just as I had imagined it would be. After the religious ceremony, we had the govt ceremony. As the gavel banged down 3 times we started laughing. In Jess's own words "Woo hoo Kiss the bride again"
After kisses and hugs from friends that came with us to Bali it was off for photos. The boys did an awesome job and we laughed all the way through the photos. For $350 I can honestly say these guys deserve more money they did a most amazing job the photos are just as good if not better than some I have seen here in Aus.
We headed back to the room to freshen up and then all headed down for dinner. It was like fairy land, the island in the pool had been decorated with flowers and candles. The meal was devine and the service was superb. The hotel management provided a quartet free of charge and they were brilliant we did an impromptu bridal waltz to unchained melody.
When we left the hotel the had packed up the flowers in boxes and they were delivered to our room back at the paradise plaza. We had drinks and dancing at Corridor in Sanur til the wee hours of the morning. On our return to the Paradise Plaza hotel we realised we had sent the key to the room with the bags. The reception clerk thought it funny to say we were too late and had to sleep in the lobby for the night. He then laughed and took us to our room. As we walked towards the room we noticed the notice board. It had an anoucement that we had won a free dinner for 2 for going green. With an incentive program to take care of the environment.

What can I say other than Thanks for the memories. I will write a JBR of each day of what else we did and bought soon.

Here are some piccies of the wedding for those that are interested.
