a bit monotonous this constant rip off, bad enough to have it on the streets, and even worse to have it at customs, now they may have found a way to get U before U get to customs. One wonders if there might one day be a way to rip someone off as you board your flight!

Yes! I know corruption is expected, accepted by many, tolerated by most, being looked in to from many angles, but, the fact remains, theft is theft and nothing is really being done to put a stop to it. Can you imagine entering say USA, UK, Germany, Australia, Hong Kong or China and being asked to 'come in to the little room' to "pay a fee"... what a joke! It does NOTHING for the real Bali, but it has definitely effected tourism badly.
