phenomenon occurring in Bali involving novels. It is called the "where do all the good books go?" phenonoma. Let me explain; Myself and just about everyone I know stocks up on current and contemporary novels to take with them on holidays. As they are read they get left in hotel rooms and libraries or swapped at book exchanges. This being the case, why is it then that the only books available for swap or purchase are very dated trashy romance novels? Where do the good books go? My theory is that they drop into the same black hole that one sock from each pair goes when they are washed but I'm willing to stand corrected if anybody knows the answer?
