We have stayed at the Garden View Cottages 3 times and find it fantastic budget accommodation.. We were there again in Feb this year and stayed in a refurbished cottage. The "old" cottage rooms are very basic, tiled floor, bed, wardrobe, small table, bed side table and fridge. Shower over bath, loo inside bathroom, hand basin in main room. There are no fancy bedspreads etc but who needs them anyway. Each cottage has its own little verandah with table and 2 chairs. The "new" renovated cottages are exactly the same size as the "old". They have had the roofs re tiled, all insides gutted and repainted, retiled, new bathroom, new modern windows , curtains, new furniture, new lighting , new aircons and ours worked brilliantly. The food at the restaurant is excellent especially the Sunday roast for about $6. They have a lovely "beauty parlour", hairdresser, nails, braids, massage, etc and there are lovely ladies that will give you a massage next to the pool or in the privacy of your room. The pool is great as it is always lovely and warm with a swim up bar and a separate shallow end for the little ones. They have live bands every night that are really good too, particularly the Yellow Band. If you don't want the hassle of finding transport out on the street they even have drivers who will take you anywhere quite cheaply. Hope this helps and have a great holiday..
