Just thought i would drop a few lines as I just got back today.
Garuda Flight Over - No problems, was greeted by Tour guide and taken to Hotel Padma.
Hotel Padma - Booked Garden Delux Room, was dissapointed at size, so went and said nicely and was upgraded to Suite. A lot better for 3 ladies. Biger and a lot more space. They upgraded me at no charge.
Really pleased with Hotel. Great for families and Honeymooners.
If you want the party yobo scene i wouldn't go there but it was great for us. Mother over 70. The extra's for the Garden Club are lovely.
Hospital - Had to go to BIM as was having a Kidney Stone attack. They where great, saw doctor and was given the correct treatment.
Very clean and very professional. Cost approx $150.00. Would not hesitate to go there if sick. Glad i had travel insurance.
Food - Would recommend Drops, Breeze.
Shopping - Great
Excess - 18 Kilo over between 2 of us. Had to pay $82.00 Australian.
Flight Home - Disgusting. Got to airport and was asked if we would like to stay for another night and Garuda would pay. As they had overbooked flight. Said No as i just wanted to get home.
Next we got told flight had been delayed for 6 HOURS. we were meant't to leave at 9.40pm but left at 2.30am or 3.30am. Still a bit dazed about the whole night so havn't quite got it together yet.
Comming into Perth there was too much fog so the third attempt we landed much to the delight of all the passengers. Carn't blame Garuda for that and the pilot did a good job to land on the third attempt.
Summary - I would not hesitate to go back, as am considering going back in November. But at present need a holiday to get over the holiday if you know what i mean. Thanks to all the people who gave me great information. When i am a bit more recovered from my last 24hrs i will write a bit more about tailor ect.
