i stay around legian and often walk back to my hotel along the beach. if you move up to the road and walk behind the beach resortsfrom melasti st you will find it because i have seen it signposted at one of the resorts between melasti and the jayakarta. u used to be able to do this at the bali cliff and if you go up to the resort on the southern edge of uluwato <sorry about spelling>.both of these resorts have wonderful views.
