Being from Perth, have not had the good luck to get a cheap fare but have my fingers crossed that Perth's turn may happen later. As I was curious I checked their website. On their website, under "Ask Jetstar" it says
When you travel with Jetstar you can take up to 20kg of baggage per person for free and an additional 20 kgs which are subject to a charge.
For every kg of baggage between 20 and 40kg on Domestic flights you will be charged $7* per kilo. This includes GST. For every kg of baggage between 20 and 40kg on International flights, you will be charged $10* per kilo. If you have purchased a connecting fare comprising of one Domestic flight and one International flight, you will be charged $10* per kilo for every kg of baggage between 20 and 40kg for your journey.
Please note that no single item may weigh over 32 kg.
* All amounts will be charged in the local currency of the applicable airport.
Cabin Baggage
You can carry 1 piece of hand baggage up to 48 x 34 x 23 cm per person.

For International Flights:
One small item such as a handbag, coat, small camera, umbrella or duty free.
