We decided to take our son out of school for the week before school holidays start here in Queensland. Oops he is in Year 12 but this was too good an offer to pass on. We fly out of Sydney on Sunday 17th June returning Friday 29th June.
We are on the Gold Coast so rather than book ex Brisbane I will wait until Jetstar have their birthday sale next year and then book seats from Coolangatta. This year they were only $33 each way per person.
The only problem with this is that you hope they do not change their flight times and days ex Sydney - which was stated in the fine print that they can do. Maybe highly unlikely but still a possibility - whereas had I booked ex Brizzie on the one ticket they would change the ticket at no charge to me.
We are also going to keep an eye out for the Hawaii sale fares. With a hubby and son that are mad keen surfers this is their ultimate dream destination. So if anyone has any tips on how to do Hawaii on the cheap I am open to suggestions (sshhh just do it quietly)
Mr and Mrs Baliku does this mean we won't be seeing you there in June again?
