up its up ... what can you do about it? I get this question asked all the time by taxi drivers in Jakarta, arent you scared etc etc? I just say if its my time, well just let it be.. they seem pretty suprised that i even say something like that.
well you got to when you live in a city, where you live with the daily terrorist threat, having terrorists websites found on the net, with ways, to kill or kidnap foreigners, always hearing of daily bomb threats in the news,
then the stories of people getting robbed in their cars at red lights, where the robbers smash the windows with an axe... and so many more, it would take all night to list one by one.. .. its just the joys of living in Jakarta.. a lot more dangerous than bali...
but in one word i would say INDAHNESIA = beautiful indonesia (indah = beautiful) when you get out of the city of course :)
