He was quite patronising towards us and we had to be very assertive and persistent in order to have things repaired. At US$250/night I expected that we would at least have hot water in the bathrooms, lights that worked, a clean pool, and a security guard. He made it clear he was only interested in taking our money and didn't care if the villa was not up to standard.
