absolutely fantastic.I have had 3 treatments at the clinic recently & can not speak highly enough of the place - from my own experiences. It is run by an Aussie Doctor called Dr Ian Gregory & he is assisted by a couple of Indonesian Doctors.Everything is spotlessly clean & completely sterilised.
You have a proper medical consulation before you agree on anything to be done & prices, options & expected outcomes are fully discussed at this time.It is a rather personal thing that you need to definately feel 100% comfortable about doing so I think you really need to make up your own mind if it is right for you & to make sure you are doing it for yourself & not for someone else.
After seeing the results of my 1st treatment an Aussie friend went in & had her 1st botox treatment then recommended it to a friend of hers & then even went back for a 2nd treatment herself because she was so happy with the results.
I had previously also checked out The Miracle clinic & was not as impressed with their professionalism or their manner. They did not seem as professional in my opinion.
The cost is about 1/4 > 1/3 of what it would cost in Australia for Botox or Aquamid.I was told that Botox would last between 4 > 6 months but have since read that it can last up to 8 months.Aquamid lasts up to 7 years.Aquamid is what is used to fill out major creases,it not really meant for wrinkles. My Husband refers to it as Polyfilla for faces ! <LOL> You can literally watch it fill out the creases as it is being injected.
I consider that Botox injections do not hurt at all & I am a huge sook when it comes to injections. It is nothing more than a pin prick.Having Aquamid does hurt a bit but it only hurts for a moment. You need to keep in mind with botox that it can take up to 10 days to work. You also need to avoid touching the area for a while.
Everyone who goes into the clinic is different & the number of units & costs involved & treatment they need is different - this is exactly why you have a proper consulation with a Doctor before.
I don't know a lot about the Aptos threads or mini-facelifts but I do know that it requires some after care & follow up visits so you need to allow time to get it done properly. If you go to the ARC web page I am sure their current copy of their newsletter is on their webpage & it would mention details.Probably best to send an email if you want more info before you go to Bali.
I have been wrapped with the results of my treatment & so has everyone who has seen it.Others may not have noticed the minor wrinkles or crease on my face before but I did.The comments I have been getting since I have been to ARC are not - you look younger but " You look so fresher, you look less tired, you look different - what have you done to your face ? "
I went to ARC clinic for treatment only because I wanted to & not for anyone elses benefit.I am absolutely thrilled with the results & I will definately be going back again in the future.
If you do decide to go there Fless can I suggest you either mention either my name or BTF.I was told that they try hard to keep track of where their customers hear about them but apparently very few Indonesian women tell anyone they have had any treatments done so they often don't know if it is advertisng that is working for them or word or mouth from satisfied customers.
If anyone has any specific questions I will try to answer them.I have copies of the past 3 newsletters & their contact details if anyone wants them.
