You pay by the cubic mtr.
This makes tiles mosy economical, as there is little air space in your shipment as with furniture.
I am doing three bathrooms / toilets at the moment in acid washed marble, with an onyx mosaic border.
Cost was about $18 per sq mtr from Bali Stone and then double it to get approx $36 psm. (shipping / clearance etc.) This is extremely cheap.
In all, we brought back 3 1/2 ton of marble, onyx and features.
At that price I am doing ceiling to floor, whereas at Aussie prices I could only do waist high.
