I stayed at Amed Cafe a few weeks ago and would definitely recommend it. It is in Jemeluk, with rooms either right on the beach (about 220,000rp for the room a night, right by the shore, with hot and cold water and air con) or just across the road in the lush gardens (we had the most basic room with cold water, fan, day bed and mosquito nets for 100,000rp a night, but this was really lovely). Breakfast is included, and there are rooms between these two budgets, depending on your preference. The restaurant is right on the beach and serves very nice food. There is also a dive centre there, which rents out snorkels etc, and the snorkeling straight out the front of the restaurant/beach bungalows is fantastic. They also organise trips to all over east Bali (sailing, trekking, snorkelling, fishing) but I didnt have time to try any of these as we were only there for 2 nights.
Good value, friendly staff and beautiful surroundings - I would definitely recommend it.
