I stayed at Bali Cliff a few years ago and to get down to the beach you had to go in that elevator but they would not put the air conditioner on...being slighty clausaphobic (prob spelt that wrong) it was so scary. The elevator was extremely slow and full of such hot air - all I could think about was what if it stopped. You would cook in there or run out of air sooo quickly (prop wouldn't but you couldn't help thinking that.) I will always remember that elevator when I think of the BCR. Cheers...
