We anticipate completion around end of July. The main pavilion has maids
quarters and storage, genset etc...in the lower level.
The upper level is open plan kitchen (gas oven, refrigerator etc.) audio
visual room and open space, typical Balinese, have a look at the architects
website and you understand where we are coming from.
The whole concept is for something my family can use, so there is a separate
master bedroom (king-size bed).
The other building contains 2 bedrooms and bathrooms/toilet etc.. (mirror
image) each room has king-size bed.
The bathrooms are typical Balinese i.e. semi open air. (the only Western
luxury we have added is gas hot water! no air conditioning). Water is
supplied from a well and pumped through a filtration system up to a 4000
litre tank-you will see it in the photos) this water may not be suitable for
drinking so you will have to buy bottled water-there is a warung 30 meters
away!!
The pool will not be constructed sometime in the future, but there is a
clean small beach 80 meters away.
We are located at the Northern end of the bay almost behind Linda Bungalows
and Puri Nusa, directly in front of Shipwrecks surf break.
Basically, the place is designed to sleep 3 couples, my kids are adults
hence the beds!!!
But the place is so big any extra arrangements could be got around. I must
stress that this a private villa, and as you can see no expense is being
spared (within reason!!)
I hope this gives you a glimpse of the place.
Regards,
Rick.
