about meeting other gay guys. If you stay in Seminyak area there is a very open gay scene and you will have no problems with meeting people. You could look at Hotel Bali Mystique in Petitenget (Seminyak/Kerobokan). They advertise as gay and straight friendly and there are many gay owned restaurants in this area also.
I wouldn't be bothering with trying to tee anything up ahead of time unless you really want to. It would be difficult in that area particularly, NOT to meet some other really great gay guys, singles and couples. We usually do and I'm one half of a not as young as we used to be straight couple!!!
