Well the 2nd day of our holiday dawned and we were into it early. Had another great breakfast, the freshly made omellettes and pancakes were delicious, ordered a coffee instead of a tea UGH!I've heard a little bit in passing of the Bali Kopi. Hit the beach again and the swell has dropped, perfect little waves for me, but a bit daunting with the crowds, I usually try to find the most deserted stretch of beach at home as I've only been surfing a short time. Everyone seems to be having a great time however, got lots of lovely smiles especially from the Balinese kids. Greeted in the water with hello where you from, ah aussie, aussie, aussie! Everyone knows about our efforts in the World Cup. Later that day we decided to take a walk to Kuta, our first foray into the world of shopping, more just a look and get the feel of it. We wandered along the beachfront road and ended up at Bubba Gumps for lunch. We both had the Accidental Fish- fantastic and a cold bintang. Starting to settle in and really liking this crazy bustling place. We walked back slowly, thinking of catching a taksi, but we were nearly home. Ran the gauntlet of timeshare sellers and we sit on the sundeck with a cold drink to watch the world go by and the sunset over the sea(pretty special for us eastcoasters).
