We have just returned from Bali (regretfully) and we just wanted to let as many people know, about the great service and quality workmanship we received from Putu, at BALI BRUMBY.
Because I wanted to get a few jackets made in both Leather and Suede plus my partner and friends also wanted jackets and suits made, we didn't want to just go to anyone. So, we put the feelers out on the forum and had a few recommendations come through. The majority of recommendations were either for Bali Brumby or Dolphin Leather.
We got quotes from both tailors and the price and service we received from Bali Brumby was exceptional. I am a bit of a perfectionist, so I'm a bit fussier than most when it comes to my clothes. Putu was always accommodating with any of my requests - nothing was ever an issue for him. He also showed honesty and integrity and always made every visit a pleasurable one.
We always stay in Legian and would normally go local for a tailor but in future we are more than happy to take the 5 minute cab trip to South Kuta to see Putu @ Bali Brumby, especially with his air conditioned shop.
If anyone is going to Bali to get suits and/or jackets made I strongly recommend you at least pay a visit to Bali Brumby and see Putu. And, if you do, say hi to him from the crazy blonde, Lauren that ordered 9 jackets from him.
