My daughter is 8 and has her done twice while we are there each time. Best to get done soon as you arrive so then you dont have to worry about messing with there hair all the time and then we normally get it redone day before we get back. HINTS wash and condition hair prior much easier and painless too do..esp if they have long hair
Ask for tiny plaits with foils much nicer than the bands if they have reasonable lenght hair.
We take over our own beads if you want nicer ones in there hair to come back with.
As my daughter has extremely long and thick hair we usually book to get it done for early in the am the next day and ask for two girls much quicker. When have stayed at the dynasty have asked the girls to come to the room and put a DVD on and time passes quicker while theyre sitting still but you have to be comfortable with that.
Dont get it done outside in the heat if it is going to take a while. Always worth it price depends on length,thickness etc.
If they have fair skin make them wear a hat in pool when they first have it done or theyll end up with burnt heads. Hope this helps.. Judi
