I remember that too, and those steps seem like they are at least fifteen inches high.I think that many countries find mature-age students a bit un-nerving, arent we lucky that we can be art students after we missed out earlier in life.Maybe teacher is safer!!Hope you are enjoying the'flower sniffing'.(it's much better than fixative on the charcoal drawings, much more healthy)
