i have stayed here a few time and will be there myself in August(from Rockingham). The hotel is not 5 star but it has all that is needed. The meals are OK, breakfast is fair, eggs to order and a selection of fried veg, bacon,spuds etc I found it was good to be early for breakfast as the food gets colder the longer it is out. The pool is wet, the bar sells cold Bintangs. The hotel is quite central and a fairly easy walk to most places ie restaraunts and shopping. For the last two years the "in-house" movies haven't changed, maybe this time. Anyway if you buy a DVD they will play it for you, you can watch it in the Bar or go back to your room. No real specific advice for the other questions, common sense is the go !
