Secondly. Do a search on the forum and you can find all your answers but here are some
1. Common sense is the best way. Dont carry around ALL your money, keep it in the Hotel safe and just take out your daily allowance. Split it between the two of you and just keep your handbag on your shoulder between you and hubby or away from the road. You will be fine but splitting money up can help prevent complete disaster if you do get pick pocketed. More chance of money changer swindling you though. So yeah dont worry on it too much just be sensible like you would anywhere.

4. Is it safe anywhere?!! Sorry no help on that one
5. Barganing, search the forum again for Dons Bali guide. Just keep in mind how much you are spending in $AU and pay what YOU feel is appropriate. So what if you can get it cheaper, if you are happy with the price and they are happy...Good for you Good for me!
6. Take an old mobile with you and get a prepaid card once in Bali. They are everywhere. SMS's cost next to nothing back to Aus and its also cheaper to call that way. But you can SMS worried friends and family easily and they can contact you easily all for a measly cent or two.
Last of all. DOnt worry too much. Think of it as an adventure. Its a wonderful place with wonderful people and you will have a ball! Oh and get out of the hustle for a day and see some of the sights (you can hire drivers everywhere or search the forum for some names and numbers.)
