We bought our jug at Hardy's in Sanur. It was just the same as a plastic deep water jug that you would buy at home but it had an element in the bottom and came with a cord and it was called a magic jug, it cost about 17,000 rupiah or about AU$2.50. We gave it away when we left. This was the only type of kettle or jug that Hardy's had. I later saw kettles in Bintang supermarket in Legian/Seminyak can't remember the price but they were cheap, also small hairdryers for 15,000 rupiah. I am sure most of the larger stores would have the jugs/kettles
