Hi, I booked when I was in Seminyak - there was a flyer in the villa for the stables and called in the morning to book an afternoon ride.
I'm not a rider so I can't really comment on the horses but they seemed well looked after - glossy and healthy. There was a dedicated guide/groom for each horse, and as soon as we got back to the stables, the horses were given water and washed down/groomed. There was an area at the stables for learning to ride in (not sure what the technical term is), and you could go on a shorter rice paddy ride, or a longer beach ride. Hope that's some help!
