I have no knowledge of these people other than what I have read on BTF [and that's not knowledge, merely unsubstantiated hearsay]. But I wouldn't buy property anywhere in the world without independant professional representation. To me, that's just plain common sense, regardless of who you are dealing with.

If you are serious about doing property business in Bali, I suggest you contact him, rather than making vague insinuations, or asking us, people who you don't even know, for advice.
As regards anonymity, I use my real first name [and sometimes post my email address] and know many posters in the general area of Perth/Fremantle/Rockingham/Mandurah, also one or two in other parts of Australia. Certainly no big deal for anyone who would not deliberately make inappropriate comments.
