Yes, Poppies 1 has a great range of decent cheap accommodation (assuming you are staying in Kuta). There are lots of options - it depends on how much you want to spend. The rooms behind Diva's cafe are pretty nice (just no swimming pool), and only about 90,000rp for the room if I remember rightly. Ayu Beach Inn is also good, with a range of differently priced rooms. For the really cheap places, it is best to turn up and have a look as places change a lot over time, and what one person expects isn't what the next does. But you have plenty of options.
