Hi Maxpax!

I'm currently going through relexology withdrawals... :-(

Mr Pie also has real probs with having his feet touched - and was reluctant to have a go - but eventually relented and enjoyed the experience. He said his feet felt wonderful!

Our fave spot is 'Ibu Jari - The Relaxation Zone' on Poppies I (closer to the JL Legian end) opposite Bamboo Corner and TJ's restaurants. Their telephone number is 0361 7471202. The cost is 45 000 for an hour treatment - and the best money that we spent in Bali.

Scrupulously clean premises and friendly, professional staff. During the reflexology session the masseur will ask if it's too hard or soft (they can sense if there's something amiss) and is more than happy to hear and act on your feedback. I cannot recommend this team highly enough!

I suffer terribly from fluid retention in one foot/ankle (made worse by the flight and heat)... and daily treatments kept it manageable throughout our stay. After the amazing results of the first treatment I went back every evening for the rest of our stay (another seven times!)

Reflexology is a wholistic treatment - to balance and re-energise the whole body via the pressure points of the feet. So, not only do your feet feel wonderful for the attention, there's the added bonus of a general feeling of... bagus!

Incidentally, 'Ibu Jari' means 'Mother Finger' i.e. the thumb... a masseur's most important tool!

Cheers,
Mrs Pie :-)
