business visas which are very easy to get. ( ostensibly we assist a friend's business with English and every so often we actually do.)
They only last for one year and you have to leave the country after 6 mths( which can be a same day to Singapore)
This suits us just fine as we return for an annual top-up of Kiwiana at Christmas anyway.
The visa takes about 3 days and costs $125.00.
When you arrive you are given 60 days and you then have to apply, and pay for, an extension for the next 3 months which takes you to 6.
It's about Rp400,000 per extension and can be done via an agent or a "friend"in Immigration.
Really simple, but it's not a "working" visa so to be legal you can't take a job of any kind.
