there must be hundreds, but of all one stands out above all others and reflects the deep feeling and sincerity of these simple and loving people who are hurting after what they have been through of late.i had organised yet another holiday to bali and as a suprise i decided to advise by sms my very special balinese freind and driver, that as i could not make the trip this time, would he be so kind as to look after a very close freind of mine, namely mr frank jay (non existant) who would arrive on this paticular day at the scheduled time etc.,and make sure you have a name board so that frank would recognise him on arrival.now then heres the suprise i travelled to bali and upon arrival was met at the aircraft door by a young balinese girl and a wheelchair, all pre arranged by the airline as i was suffering with spurs on both feet at the time and walking was really painful at the time and you know that it is quite a walk at denpasar.but all was good then following all the formalities i donned a face mask and i eventually emerged to the awaiting crowds of eager balinese drivers, all eager to assist in getting us aussies to our destinations.well there was the board with mr frank jays name held high by my dear freind mr wi as i call him.his name is nyoman wijaya, but he likes mr wi but only one wi please not two as in wiwi,ha! hes a character.well this was my most memorable and favourite moment, because as we approached him i removed the mask and if only you could see those dark eyes fill with joy and tears at the sight of his best mate and soulmate from oz.it truly was the best.sorry the story took so long but i,m sure you all have stories to be told,so come on aussie come on put pen to paper eh!
