My Hubby and I stayed at the bali garden 1 week ago the hotel is not bad air conditioning works hot water works after 9.30am, buffte breakfast nice staff are nice ecspecially the room attendant on level 4 . it is in a great location and right on the beach . pool area is good but could do with a bit of renovation. you can hire dvd players for 50,000 rupiah a day but it is cheaper to buy one next door for about $40 aussie dollars. exchange rate at the moment was 6800 rupiah. Great restaurant down BakangSari street called Dui 1.
We stayed in room 409 and it was away from most of the noise.
