over the place, but my favourite would have to be Warung Murah and it is....cheap that is!!!

A delicious nasi goreng was only 7,000, Gary would always have the nasi special, which was the works, sate, chicken leg, etc and that would be 18,000. Jordy's plate of chips was about 5,000 and drinks ranged from sprite being 4,000 to my ginger tea 5,000 and gary's mixed juices 4,000 or 5,000 cant exactly remember.

We also did bubi guling on the sunset rd, just on a corner there down in seminyak, i know, I know, sorry am so bad at names etc. Delicious and for 15,000 you get a soup, rice, crackling, some other sort of cracker and pork as well as a salady vegetable thing, all spicy and tasty, but very local, no other bules there so gary being the 6' 2" giant he is with a bald head got some very interesting stares, he was too busy eating to notice though. Also did Warung Oka up in Ubud, as usual, packed and totally delicious, probably won out over the other one for me!!!

Dromomaniac has some interesting stories to tell of her husbands expeditions up to Oka's, I wonder if she has told everyone. Such a lovely couple and their kids are gorgeous, hope you can all meet them one day.

What else....got stopped on my way INTO bali at Customs...never had that happen EVER!! What a spin out!! Of course I NEVER checked my luggage for x's because Ive never had them before, but yep when they pulled me up there it was!!!

I am a diabetic and use insulin via a syringe, whilst this is not a problem, because I was going for two months, I had an absolute sh!!tload of them. Within minutes of opening my suitcase and finding all the packets of needles, the customs officer had deduced that I must have two needles a day....I was absolutely gobsmacked, never before have I encountered such a fast thinker, and Im not saying the balinese are all slow, far from it, but I didnt even think he would know WHAT a diabetic was. I was very impressed and there was no problem, I just had to show my letter from the dr. First time for everything huh.

Went to a huge ceremony at the Pettinget Temple but will write more on that tomorrow!!
