and found there were only a few mozzies. No where near the amount that I encountered in Kuta. I still look like I have the measles. I have red dots all over my face. My friend didn't have a problem with them bitting her. We put it down to the medication she was on.
In the rooms at Tegal Sari they supply mozzie coils and also an electric mozzie thingy thats lets off a repellant of some kind. I used to close the mozzie nets up just before dust.
