Why on earth would anyone object to a security check on bags before boarding?
I would have thought that someone so paranoid that they have their bags wrapped in plastic would be pleased that all luggage going into the plane was checked.
It's actually nothing new as I recall a check on hand-carried luggage when boarding in Bali in 1978.
