Because hubby was silly enough to fill in a "survey" (against my advice) we went to one at the Peninsula, much to my disgust as the free breakfast wasn't as good as the one at The Lokha where we were staying. As johnh says it is a waste of time. We already own timeshare (bought in Bali). We didn't buy and there was a whole lot of lies told. Wasted half a day that could have been spent relaxing by the pool. We were given a free week to use BUT this is what it entails (from email received after my enquiry)

Unfortunately we do not provide a list of resorts available. Once we receive your booking form we apply to various resorts in the destinations you have chosen to secure accommodation. It is important to fully complete the form with two destinations and three dates in three separate weeks. We will of course try for your first choice but this cannot be guaranteed. The booking fee will only be taken once you accept our booking offer.

Destinations available are as follow:
Bali = Jimbaran, Candi Dasa,
Thailand = Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, Samui
Malaysia = Kuala Lumpur, Damai Laut
India = Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Kerela, Bush Betta - Bandipur forest, Goa
Europe = Portugal (Algavre), Malta, Spain (Malaga), Tenerife
China = Beijing (2 nights)

Although it says Australia is available (in the book) that isn't so at present. You have to book within 6 months of the presentation you attend and use within 12 months. Unfortunately I don't think that is going to fit in with our schedule for next year. There is a $USD50 booking fee.
