it seems like a long time ago, when I last posted on here.

Well two months in Bali and it has absolutely flown, Ive had the best time over there, but if you ask me what I did for those two months, I couldnt tell you exactly!!!!

We spent alot of time checking out villas to buy, in fact the first three weeks thats virtually all we did and boy did we some spectacular ones, ranging from about $150,000 U.S. right up to $500,000 U.S. those villas in Seminyak C151, of course we were never going to purchase one but it was great to see such a variety of places, guess its not very nice for the real estate agent showing you around, but wow are there some nices places out there.

Our thoughts were to maybe buy something and then retire to it in quite a few years, but me being the impatient git that I am, cant wait that long to live in Bali. So Ive decided to rent a place for a year and see how I go over there with just myself and my son, Gary will stay in Australia to work and come over for four weeks at some stage.

Dont ask me how its all going to work out, I dont know, but im going to give it my best shot.

Anyway back to the holiday, I was up early most mornings either walking along the beach or using the gym facilities at the Dynasty, which, by the way, are excellent!!! Ive lost quite a few kilo's I have to say.

Also the kids club at the hotel is great and Jordy went there most days, we just used to say, time for school, and he would slip on his little thongs and off we would go. Lots of free time for myself which was great.

Met Reiki, great girl and spent a few nights at the Bounty with her which was fun.

Went to Lombok originally for 8 days, but the day we arrived I wanted to leave, it was sooooooo quiet and whilst I guess, some people love that environment, its not for me. Anyway we managed to stay for 3 days and whilst there we did a trip to the Gili's which was fabulous, just to see them!!!

We went to Gili Air, which incredibly was quieter than Lombok!!! So many deserted hotels, very very sad, and such a lovely little island, in its day, would have been absolutely buzzing. I think the Bounty chain had a hotel there, it was completely deserted, no security nothing, just a big pool out the front full of slimey water, sooo sad!!!

Ate at some fantastic places back in Bali, down Poppies II, near where Reiki was staying at the Barong, cant tell you the names, but great nasi goreng. We also spent alot of time at the Febri's, across the road from the Dynasty, sooooo cheap for breakfast lunch and dinner, and a really nice all round atmosphere. Actually I dont know if Dromomaniac has done her jbr, but her family ended up staying there and thoroughly enjoyed it!!! Highly recommend this place, if for nothing else other than the cheap food.

Their spa is excellent too, ask for Dihayna, a young 20 year old boy, but gives a wicked foot reflexology and will also teach you a great deal of balinese words, which I quickly wrote down so as not to foget them.

Tried to learn a new word a day, dont think I managed every day but still, in two months, have managed to gather a few words that can get me by in conversation!!!

Oh dear the brain is getting very foggy, lack of sleep, shall write more tomorrow, if noone is bored yet!!

Talk soon, cya
